Significant upgrade of the Kievitplein site during the period 2003 - 2005 resolved in a construction of 8 high rise towers, 55.000 m² of office space, housing, Linder and Accor hotels, and 2.600 m² of retail space together with retail space and a car park. Among the most important tenants are Alcatel (taking half of the towers) and the Flemish Community (16.000 m²). The proximity of Antwerp Central Station ensures the sustainable character of this site where mobility is important.
